In the past 50 years, we have gone from using computers that filled full air-conditioned rooms, to having tablets that fit in the palms of our hands. Advances in hardware and software have led to this revolutionary innovation in technology. Krish wants to share the importance of kids learning to program, to fuel the next wave of innovation. My name is Krish Mehra, and I am 11 years old and I am in sixth grade. When I was eight years old, I became interested in coding. Since then, I taught myself multiple coding languages including HTML, Java, Python and Swift. This has lead me to create two apps that have been published on the iOS App Store. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx

This is an attempt to record video of the 1995 demo I was lead coder for; what with DOS emulation and odd codecs involved, the quality is a bit variable, but it's a nice trip down memory lane for me nevertheless :-)
